On the heels of Mario Cristobal replacing Manny Diaz as the Miami Hurricanes coach, Texas linebacker Justin Medlock declared he is stepping away from his commitment to the team, he announced Monday on Twitter.
Medlock, a three-star recruit by 247sports, committed to the Hurricanes back in July, and recently picked up an offer from the Utah Utes and the TCU Horned Frogs.
Before Medlock announced his decision, the Hurricanes picked up a commitment from Miami Central linebacker Wesley Bissainthe last Saturday. Bissainthe, a four-star recruit and the No. 196 prospect in the nation by 247sports is the lone linebacker committed to the Hurricanes’ recruiting class.
