MIAMI GARDENS — The Hurricanes dropped their third consecutive game with a tight 27-24 loss to ACC rival North Carolina on Saturday.
The defeat was Miami’s fourth consecutive loss to the Tar Heels, who withstood the Hurricanes’ late comeback attempt.

Tyler Van Dyke is back
Just two weeks after being benched due to subpar play against Middle Tennessee State, Tyler Van Dyke showed he can still sling the ball around the field. The third-year sophomore finished the game with 42 completions on 57 attempts with three touchdowns.
