Al Blades Jr. has been committed to the program where his father once played for years, but for a long time, he was uncertain whether to sign with Miami during the Early Signing Period or wait for National Signing Day.
Earlier this week, he indicated he was leaning toward signing early and on Wednesday, he made it official, with Miami announcing his signing shortly before 8 a.m. on Wednesday morning.
“I felt like once I got the offer, it was a dream and everything,” Blades told the Sun Sentinel when he committed as a sophomore. “I knew that was the college I wanted to go to.
