Special year has brought national recognition back to Miami Hurricanes

In just two seasons since returning to his Alma mater Mark Richt has returned the swagger to the U. The Miami Hurricanes have accomplished a lot in two seasons since taking over what many considered to be an irrelevant program nationally two years ago.

The Miami Hurricanes had a pair of blips on the national college football radar during the 2015 season. The first was a 58-0 home loss to Clemson. A week later Miami pulled off one of the most improbable victories in college football history with the “Miracle in Durham” at Duke.

The loss to the Tigers led to then Miami Head Coach Al Golden’s firing.
