With the win, Germany advances to the quarterfinals against the United States on Friday. New Zealand will next play in the classification or consolation round against Mali on Friday. Mali lost 117-69 to the United States earlier today.
Mali has lost all four of their games at the U19s thus far. Their closest game was a 76-73 defeat to Japan in pool play.
