Rivals ranks the Miami Hurricanes fifth overall and as the top team in the ACC in their overall recruiting rankings.
Wide receivers and the secondary highlight the Miami Hurricanes Storm ’18 Class. Running back Lorenzo Lingard is the highest ranked player in the Hurricanes class. Lingard is the Hurricanes first five-star signee since Chad Thomas in 2014 and the Hurricanes first five-star offensive signee since running back Duke Johnson in 2012. Johnson became Miami’s all-time leading rusher.
Rivals ranks Lingard as the 13th best player in the country, the fourth best player in Florida and the second best running back in the nation.
