There are some travel bags near the door, a few boxes in a corner and a trophy his former players at Georgia insisted he take with him to Miami. But for the most part, Mark Richt's new office – the one that overlooks the field where he once practiced as a quarterback – is still pretty sparse.
There hasn't been much time for decorating since being named the Hurricanes new coach earlier this month, but there is one box Richt looking forward to opening, even if he'll need help putting together the contents: a playpen for his 1-year-old granddaughter Jadyn Elise, who will arriving in South Florida soon for a brief visit with her family.
