For the Hurricanes, one of the most effective units last season was the defensive line, a group that showed marked improvement under assistant coach Craig Kuligowski.
On Friday, Kuligowski's efforts in his first year at Miami were rewarded with Hurricanes coach Mark Richt announcing he was naming the defensive line coach the Hurricanes' new assistant head coach. Kuligowski will continue coaching the line, which is expected to again, be one of Miami's top units next season.
"Craig did an outstanding job last season working with our defensive line," Richt said in a statement released by Miami.
