Crawford played three seasons for the Hurricanes. His was very productive playing in every game in his Sophomore and Junior seasons as the starting Nickelback. Crawford had 56 tackles, three tackles for loss, one interception, and 13 passes defended, one fumble recovery and one forced fumble in his Miami career.
After sitting out 2015 as a transfer, Crawford has gotten off to a good start for the Mountaineers this season. Starting at cornerback, Crawford has 19 tackles, two tackles for loss and five passes defended.
He suffered an undisclosed injury in the Mountaineers loss to Oklahoma State on Saturday, their first of the season.
