The recent play of N’Kosi Perry has been encouraging, but three scholarship quarterbacks on the roster for 2019 is risky for the Miami Hurricanes. Miami entered 2018 with four scholarship tight ends on the roster and all four are out with injuries entering the season finale against Pittsburgh.
Miami is not likely to sign a high profile quarterback after losing out on Bryant. The high likelihood is that Perry will begin next season as the starting quarterback. Williams should push him during spring practice and training camp.
If Perry cannot play consistently throughout the 2019 season Williams could get a chance to play next year.
