Quarterback change fails to spark Miami Hurricanes in loss to Virginia

The Miami Hurricanes offense was inefficient all game as both Rosier and Perry continued to struggle with accuracy issues. The Hurricanes passing game completed 15-29 passes for 190 yards but with three interceptions.

The Miami Hurricanes ground game was not much better. Outside of a Travis Homer 70-yard run that the Canes could only convert into a field goal UM finished with only 79 more rushing yards on the night. Poor execution on offense, the lack of a ground game and the two late penalties crushed the Hurricanes.

Miami closed to within 16-13 on 11-yard Malik Rosier rushing touchdown with 3:04 to play.
