He may be a seasoned veteran, but Indianapolis Colts’ Andre Johnson is still making big-time plays at wide receiver.
On Sunday, January 3, 2016, the Colts defeated the Tennessee Titans in the final game of their regular season, 30-24.
Though Johnson only had 4 receptions for 46 yards (averaging 11.5-yards per reception), his one touchdown was a heavy mixture of savviness and pure beauty.
Lined up on the Titan’s 18-yard line, Colt’s quarterback Ryan Lindley snaps the ball and Johnson takes off into a deep corner route. Tennessee’s cornerback, B.W. Webb, had pretty good coverage on Johnson, but over pursued the pass, allowing Johnson to make a play on the ball.
