The Miami Hurricanes roster has been hit hard in the last week. Tight ends Brevin Jordan and Will Mallory were knocked out against Virginia Tech and wide receiver Jeff Thomas departed from the team on Wednesday after an apparent falling out with Head Coach Mark Richt and Wide Receivers Coach Ron Dugans.
Jordan and Mallory’s injuries will keep them out against Pittsburgh. Thomas only played 28 of 69 offensive snaps against the Hokies. Without Jordan and Mallory Richt spread the field more and used four wide receiver sets against Virginia Tech. Twelve different receivers caught passes against the Hokies.
