The Miami Hurricanes will host Pittsburgh in a three-game ACC Coastal Division series this weekend. Miami enters play against the Panthers with wins in three of their last four games. The Hurricanes won two of three at Clemson last weekend. They added an 8-1 midweek victory over Florida Gulf Coast.
Freshman right-hander Chris McMahon earned the first victory of his collegiate career against the Eagles. The victory improved the Hurricanes to 16-20 overall. They are 9-9 in the ACC.
Pittsburgh travels to Coral Gables 8-10 in the ACC and 19-15 overall. The Panthers lost to Kent State 2-0 on Wednesday night.
