The Hurricanes didn’t have much time to dwell on their disappointing season-opening loss to LSU this past Sunday night.
Hours after returning to campus early Monday morning, Miami’s coaches were breaking down game film. By Tuesday morning — less than 48 hours after they’d played — the Hurricanes were back on the practice field cleaning up issues from Sunday’s 33-17 loss.
The Hurricanes will have their first chance to play a game after that loss when they host Savannah State on Saturday in their home opener at Hard Rock Stadium. And while no one expects this one to be close — their last meeting was anything but — the Hurricanes are certainly hoping they can get back on track, snap a frustrating four-game losing streak and get some young players much needed playing time in a real college game.
