The Miami Hurricanes will finish their season at 28-26 (17-14 ACC) after a loss vs the Clemson Tigers Thursday. Miami will almost certainly not be selected for the NCAA Tournament for the second year in a row. It was a disappointing end to Jim Morris’ final season, and now the ‘Canes will have to turn young talent into sophomore production next season.
The Hurricanes got a great start out of Jeb Bargfeldt in his last career game. The senior went 5.2 innings, leaving with the game at 2-1 in favor of Clemson. When the bullpen came in, the Hurricanes totally folded.
