The Miami Hurricanes are 32-14 (14-10 ACC) after a series-opening victory against the Bethune-Cookman Wildcats. Miami has won five games in a row as they continue to look to strengthen their NCAA Tournament resume heading down the stretch.
Brian Van Belle gave the Hurricanes a good performance as he pitched in his first ever Friday night game. The junior went seven innings and allowed just three runs, only two of which were earned. Daniel Federman and Alex Ruiz both pitched scoreless innings to close out the game for the ‘Canes.
Miami used the home run to garner more than half of their offense today.
