Though neither of them played a down for the Hurricanes this season, both defensive end Al-Quadin Muhammad and linebacker Jermaine Grace will participate in Miami’s annual Pro Day event for NFL hopefuls, the school announced Wednesday.
They will join 13 of their former teammates for the event, which has traditionally drawn large crowds of NFL scouts, coaches and executives.
Muhammad and Grace were both expected to be starters for Miami this season, but the pair were dismissed from the team in August after the school said the pair committed NCAA violations in their dealing with a local car rental agency.
