Monday Musings: Closing the book on a terrible year of mens sports at the U

IIIIIIIIIIIIIITTTTTTTTT’SSSSSSSSSS MONDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

And you know what that means. Let’s grab some pickaxes, put on those hardhats, and go spelunking for those Miami Hurricanes-related nuggets of thought chock through my mind.

1) The Miami Hurricanes’ baseball season is over. And it ended in a manner fitting for the Canes: a bullpen meltdown. A Chernobyl-type of meltdown. Six-runs-in-the-eighth type of meltdown. A-guy-hits-one-out-of-the-stadium type of meltdown. But what else is new? Outside of Nick Robert and Myles Caba, this team had very little of offer once the starters hit the showers. And they weren’t perfect either, as Robert took the loss on Saturday evening and Caba couldn’t stop the bleeding.
