Miami's Ja'Quan Newton Suspended Three Games

Story Courtesy UM:

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – University of Miami sophomore guard Ja'Quan Newton has been suspended three games due to a violation of team rules. He will sit out games against Louisville, Notre Dame and Virginia Tech.

Our take: Worst possible timing for this news. Miami really needs Newton for his production off the bench and to spell Angel Rodriguez. Winning the ACC regular season just went from tough to near impossible. Today's game will be especially challenging given the pressure D of the Cardinals.

Whatever led to this, hopefully lesson learned.
