CORAL GABLES — The transfer portal has been kind to Miami Hurricanes coach Mario Cristobal and defensive line coaches Joe Salave’a and Rod Wright.
Cristobal and his staff quickly bolstered the strength of their defensive line thanks to key transfers who will quickly play large roles in the rotation. The combination of newcomers and returnees should make UM’s defensive line a formidable unit.
“I could definitely say that I’ve never played on a D-line so deep before,” Southern California transfer Jake Lichtenstein said. “It’s so much competition and we’re all really progressing and pushing each other to get better.
