The 5’7 point guard contributed nine of his 16 points before halftime as his team future led 69-67 at the break. Lykes came out in the second half and showed his exceptional skills.
Lykes had a length of the court layup, pulled up for a three-pointer, showed off his handle with a behind the back dribble and had an assist on an alley-oop.
He finished the evening with 16 points, including two shots from beyond the arc and contributed two assists.
Lykes led Gonzaga prep in Washington D.C. to the nation’s number 15 ranking.
