It’s no secret, the state of Florida, specifically South Florida, produces the best football players in the country. Not an opinion, that’s a fact. The Hurricanes have won 5 national championships with the help of South Florida talent, and many of their best players in program history have come from The State of Miami.

However, while I don't want the Canes to shy away from getting the best local talent every year and making it their top priority for scouting, there is another area where I'd love to see Miami start to recruit more heavily, the great state of Texas.
