Miami Must Use Their Tight Ends In The Passing Game in 2024

Miami’s passing game is expected to take a step forward in 2024, especially with the addition of quarterback Cam Ward and the return of receivers Xavier Restrepo and Jacolby George.

Last year, Miami ranked 49th in passing yards under former QB Tyler Van Dyke, while the offense averaged 31 points per game. Receivers like Restrepo and George stepped up in 2023, proving to be reliable targets for Van Dyke, emerging as two of the top receivers in the ACC.

One area where Miami will need to improve in 2024 is utilizing tight ends in the passing game.
