Miami Is Completely Revamped at the Quarterback Position

At times throughout 2018, we hoped to see improvement from Malik Rosier and consistency from N’Kosi Perry. Unfortunately, we didn’t see either of those for an extended amount of time, with a long list of factors affecting their production.

Fast forward a handful of months and the ‘Canes are the deepest they’ve been in years at the quarterback position.

Recent commit Tyler Van Dyke, a 4-star recruit in the 2020 class, solidifies Miami’s corp, and could easily be a future starter.

Van Dyke’s numbers as a Junior aren’t ‘mind-blowing’ by any means — throwing for 1,899 yards with 14 touchdowns and five interceptions while completing 57 percent of his passes.
