Berrios and Herndon were in the same position a year ago. Berrios stepped up as the Miami Hurricanes top receiver last season. He had to replace the production of Stacy Coley who graduated after the 2016 season and Rising Junior Ahmmon Richards who missed five games with injuries last season.
Herndon became the practically the only target at tight end last season when Miami lost 2017 first round NFL Draft pick at tight end David Njoku at tight end. Herndon accounted for almost 82 percent of the receptions at tight end in 2017.
WIth the Hurricanes extremely inexperienced at tight end entering 2018 they will need more production from Lawrence Cager and Darrell Langham at wide receiver.
