Now it is time to focus on spring practice. Wide receiver Lawrence Cager is a player that will garner plenty of attention for the Miami Hurricanes this spring.
The early years
Lawrence Cager came to Miami in 2015 as a four-star U.S. Army All-American ranked as the 45th best wide receiver in the 2015 class.
Cager played sparingly in his freshman season ending the year with eight receptions, 70 yards and one touchdown in five games. Unfortunately, Cager missed the entire 2016 season with an ACL injury.
The comeback
In 2017, Cager battled back and earned respectable playing time totaling 16 receptions, 237 yards, and three touchdowns in eight games.
