Berrios is an outstanding student who has won multiple awards for his hard work in the classroom. He was one of 12 Miami Hurricanes football players that graduated in the fall semester.
Among Berrios’ classmates were kicker Michael Badgley, lineman Trevor Darling, tight end Christopher Herndon IV, defensive end Demetrius Jackson, lineman K.C. McDermott and quarterback Malik Rosier.
All but Rosier and Jackson have used up their eligibility. Herndon and Jackson are out injured and will not be able to play in the Orange Bowl game against Wisconsin. Both Jackson and Rosier are likely to return for their redshirt seasons in 2018.
