DeeJay Dallas was a high school quarterback recruited to the Miami Hurricanes as an athlete. Dallas was originally a wide receiver as a true freshman in 2017. Dallas was initially the threat opponents could focus on when Miami was in the Wildcat. The addition of redshirt sophomore Tate Martell has added a dimension.
Dallas ran 50 yards for a touchdown out of the wildcat early in the fourth quarter to give the Miami Hurricanes a 20-17 lead against Florida. That run was partially set up by Martell’s presence in the game. Martell went in motion from left to right.
