For the second time in as many years, the Hurricanes football team will have a new look – and this one was unveiled Saturday night with plenty of Miami-style fanfare.
At an invitation-only party at South Beach nightspot Club LIV that featured several former football players including Jonathan Vilma and Brett Romberg, along with coaches Al Golden, Jim Morris and Katie Meier, Adidas – Miami’s new apparel outfitter – revealed a set of football uniforms for the Hurricanes that included plenty of Miami’s traditional elements, with a few new twists, including metallic elements on the jerseys, pants and cleats.
