The injury attrition for Miami continued on Tuesday when it was announced that sophomore Tight End Brian Polendey would have season-ending surgery for a right knee injury.

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The University of Miami football program announced Tuesday that sophomore tight end Brian Polendey has sustained a right knee injury and will be sidelined for the remainder of the season.
Polendey will undergo surgery at the UHealth Sports Medicine Institute at The Lennar Foundation Medical Center.
Polendey, a native of Denton, Texas, played in Miami’s first two games of the season, catching one pass for 14 yards.
