Former Miami Hurricanes tight end Brevin Jordan who was projected to be a third-round pick in the NFL tumbled to the fifth round when he was finally selected by the Houston Texans. Jordan was the third highest-ranked TE prospect for the 2021 NFL Draft by CBS Sports. Eight TEs were drafted before Jordan.
Jordan had to watch the Dolphins pass him up for Boston College TE Hunter Long. Also selected ahead of Jordan at TE was Kylen Granson who shares Miami Hurricanes offensive coordinator Rhett Lashlee in common.
