With five players transferring out, the roster appeared to be on a fast track toward depletion ahead of the 2021-22 season. But with guards Isaiah Wong and Kameron McGusty deciding to return to UM after testing NBA waters and after adding the transfers of Charlie Moore (DePaul) and Jordan Miller (George Mason), Miami suddenly has a backcourt to be reckoned with.
McGusty and Wong arrived at their conclusions over the past two weeks after originally throwing their names into consideration for the 2021 NBA draft while maintaining college eligibility, leaving the door open for a return to Coral Gables.
