Barring an epic collapse in their last four games, the 2017 Miami Hurricanes are setting new standards in program history. Since joining the ACC Miami has not had less than three losses in the ACC since their second season in the league in 2005. If they win one of their last three conference games they will guarantee themselves no more than two ACC losses this season.
Only one Miami team has even tied for an ACC Coastal Division title. The 2012 Hurricanes went 5-3 and tied with North Carolina and Georgia Tech. The Yellow Jackets earned the bid in the conference championship game with Miami and North Carolina on probation.
