Larry Blustein has covered high school football and recruiting in South Florida for nearly five decades — a stretch during which he’s pretty much seen all the craziness that can happen when college coaches descend on Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties to try and fill their rosters with the area’s top prospects.
So even as the school with the most access to South Florida’s rich talent pool scrambles to salvage its latest recruiting class after the defection of two more offensive prospects, Blustein says he’s not quite worried about the Miami Hurricanes just yet.
