Entering today’s announcement, the Hurricanes were ranked 6th in the Coaches Poll and 7th in the AP Poll. At 8-0, the Canes are 1 of just 5 teams Nationally with an undefeated record to this point of the season (Alabama, Georgia, Wisconsin, and UCF being the other 4 undefeated teams).

For their efforts and following a 28-10 win over previously 13th ranked Virginia Tech, the Hurricanes moved up to 7th in this week’s College Football Playoff Rankings.
