Miami Hurricanes quarterback D’Eriq King far exceeded his ranking as the eighth-best transfer during the 2020 cycle. King was arguably the best transfer during the 2020 college football season. King completed 64.1 percent of his pass attempts for 2,686 passing yards, 23 touchdowns and five interceptions.
Possibly the best dual-threat QB in college football, King ran for 538 yards and four touchdowns. King led the Miami Hurricanes to an 8-3 season but suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament during the 37-34 loss to Oklahoma State in the Cheez-it Bowl.
