The irony of Kaaya watching Rosier start for the Miami Hurricanes in Durham was that Rosier made his first collegiate start at Duke in 2015. Kaaya had to sit out the game against the Blue Devils that season because of a concussion.
Rosier led the Miami Hurricanes to one of the most memorable victories in school history. Rosier’s numbers against the Blue Devils in 2015 were similar to his 2017 numbers.
He threw for 272 yards, two touchdowns and an interception. In Friday night’s win, Rosier threw for 270 with an identical two touchdowns and an interception.
