ON Tuesday afternoon, the University of Miami announced that redshirt junior OL George Brown Jr. would undergo surgery on his knee. Here’s the press release from Miami Athletics:
CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The University of Miami football program announced Tuesday that redshirt junior offensive lineman George Brown, Jr. has sustained an MCL injury in his right knee.
Brown will undergo surgery this week at the UHealth Sports Medicine Institute at The Lennar Foundation Medical Center, and is expected to make a full recovery.
Brown, a native of Cincinnati, Ohio, transferred to UM from LSU in 2016.
