Miami Hurricanes offense disappears in series loss vs Pittsburgh

The Panthers advantage was over three games. They didn’t win one game 5-4. The lack of an offense has been the Miami Hurricanes thorn over the past two seasons.

Miami couldn’t get anything going in the first two games of the series. The Miami offense was anemic against one of the ACC’s worst pitchers in game one. They managed just one run on three hits in seven innings against Pittsburgh starter Dan Hammer. Hammer was 2-2 with a 9.67 ERA entering Friday night’s game.

Against the ACC’s tenth-ranked pitching staff in batting average against Miami was only able to get 13 hits this weekend.
