Miami Hurricanes first-baseman/outfielder CJ Kayfus, pitcher Alejandro Rosario, outfielder Zach Levenson and shortstop Dominic Pitelli were selected on the second day of the MLB Draft. Miami basketball alums Jordan Miller and Isaiah Wong continued playing in the NBA Summer League and recruiting analysis continues.
Third baseman Yohandy Morales and pitcher Andrew Walters were chosen on the first day of the MLB Draft. Kayfus was selected 93rd overall by the Cleveland Guardians, Rosario 144th overall by the Texas Rangers, Levenson went 158th overall to the St. Louis Cardinals and Pitelli 198th overall to the Cincinnati Reds.
Wong scored six points and had three rebounds and two assists on 2-3 from the floor, 0-1 on three-point attempts and 2-2 from the free throw line while playing 10:36 for the Indiana Pacers in the summer league.
