The Miami Hurricanes added experience and size at linebacker with Louisville graduate transfer K.J. Cloyd announcing on Sunday he is joining the Hurricanes. Cam Mellor of the College Football Network ranked the Miami quarterback corps 92nd nationally. A few recruits are trending to Miami after official visits this weekend.
Cloyd is transferring to Miami after playing under Miami LB coach Derek Nicholson the last three years with the Cardinals. Cloyd was primarily a special teams player with Louisville. In three seasons with the Cardinals Cloyd had only one start. At 6’2 and 229 pounds, Cloyd provides Miami another bigger LB.
