The Miami Hurricanes football program received its 17th commitment in the 2024 class from four-star defensive lineman Artavius Jones on Friday. Miami basketball alums Jordan Miller and Isaiah Wong played their last scheduled games in the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas on Friday.
The commitment from Jones moved the 2024 Miami Hurricanes football class to 14th. Miami entered Friday 16th on Friday morning following a commitment from five-star wide receiver Joshisa Trader on Thursday. Prior to the commitment from Trader Miami had the 21st ranked class entering Thursday.
Miller scored six points on 3-8 from the floor and 0-1 on three-point attempts with three rebounds, two assists, one steal and one block as the Clippers won 102-91 over Sacramento.
