Miami Hurricanes News and Notes — Miami loses two key commits in wake of loss to Duke

** Jacksonville Trinity star running back Marcus Crowley has been committed to Miami since early December of 2017. On Sunday, Crowley backed off his pledge and chose to commit to Ohio State following his official visit.

It is hard to imagine that Miami’s struggles had nothing to do with this decision. Crowley was one of the Hurricanes longest tenured commits. His recruitment has also taken off as his monster senior season in which he's ran for 1550 yards, 20 touchdowns, and averages 10.3 yards per carry. It is no wonder that power house programs like Ohio State pursued him.
