The Miami Hurricanes moved up two spots to No. 9 in college football’s AP Poll on Sunday after the 44-41 win at North Carolina State on Friday night.
UM moved ahead of Georgia, which fell from 5 to 12 after its loss to Florida (6) on Saturday and also moved ahead of Wisconsin (13).
Notre Dame, at No. 2, is now the top-ranked team in the Atlantic Coast Conference after defeating previously No. 1 Clemson — without quarterback Trevor Lawrence. The Tigers fell to 4 as idle Alabama now holds the top spot.
