On Tuesday night, the College Football Playoff (CFP) committee released the 4th installment of its rankings for the 2024 season. After setting the foundation for the seedings and revealing some of the underlying logic last week with the first release, this week’s rankings continued along that path as we move through the month of November.
Coming off win against Wake Forest to move to 10-1, Miami was the beneficiary of their own success, and losses by several SEC teams. Those losses helped Miami move up a spot in the rankings and hold steady in the seedings projection at this point of the season.
