Miami Hurricanes Move into Top Ten in Week Six Rankings

Related Topics: Coaches' Poll

This is the first time that the Miami Hurricanes are ranked in the top ten since October 2, 2016. The Hurricanes earned their spot in the top 10 with a 24-20 victory over Florida State. A 20-19 loss to the Seminoles last season cost them their spot in the top ten.

That loss began a four-game losing streak for Miami. The Hurricanes fell to 16 the week after losing to FSU and out of the top 25 two weeks later. Miami would not reenter the rankings until they defeated West Virginia in the Russell Athletic Bowl.

On a day that should be a huge cause for celebration the Miami Hurricanes received some devastating news.
