On Tuesday morning, the University of Miami announced that Men’s Basketball coach Jim Larranaga had agreed to a 2-year contract extension.

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The University of Miami has agreed in principle to a two-year contract extension with men’s basketball coach Jim Larrañaga, UM Director of Athletics Blake James announced Tuesday. The extension will stretch Larrañaga’s contract through May 31, 2024.
“Coach Larrañaga is an integral part of our athletics department’s success, and he continues to demonstrate year after year that he is one of the best basketball coaches in the nation,” James said.
