When Miami Hurricanes linebacker Ryan Ragone was a kid growing up in Houston, his dad always made sure to take care of the special needs kids at their church.
So when the opportunity came for Ragone and his teammates to take part in a name, image and likeness appearance for those with disabilities, he immediately jumped into action.
“I saw the love [my dad] shared with them and I guess that instilled it in me,” Ragone told the South Florida Sun Sentinel. “Now growing up, I see someone with special needs, it makes me feel gratitude for my life and their lives are just as important.
