On Wednesday afternoon, the University of Miami announced that Sophomore LB De’Andre Wilder would miss the remainder of the 2018 season with an injury.

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The University of Miami football program announced Wednesday that sophomore linebacker De’Andre Wilder has sustained a neck injury and will be sidelined for the remainder of the season.
Wilder, a native of Opa Locka, Fla., played in 12 games as a freshman in 2017, registering 10 tackles.
A standout from Carol City HS, Wilder was a depth player on special teams as a freshman, and did not see the field in 2018.
